The Glen Cove Community

Glen Cove is a master planned community of Vallejo located amid the rolling hills along the Carquinez Straits. Originally developed in 1986 by a consortium of about a dozen different builders who built a combined nineteen subdivisions, Glen Cove is a bedroom community to commuters of San Francisco, Sacramento, Napa and San Jose.

Glen Cove Elementary School is nationally recognized for elementary academics. The school encourages and places a high value on parental involvement in every aspect of the student's education. Special family styled events are held throughout the school year, for example, Ocean Night, Science Night and many child-centered carnivals. The neighborhood school is centrally located within Glen Cove and many children walk to and from home.

Outdoor activities are abundant in Glen Cove. Residents can enjoy biking or walking the rolling hills, playing tennis at the Glen Cove Park courts, boating and fishing. Hiking the Pacific Rim Trail that meanders along the Glen Cove waterfront promises incredible views of the Carquinez Straits as they curve east toward the base of Mt. Diablo in the distance. Sturgeon, Salmon and Striped Bass are some common catches off of the shores along Glen Cove. Sailors will find boat berths at the Glen Covemarina accommodate power or sail boats and there is ample guest berthing.
